About Sherer's Flooring
Sherer's Flooring & Interiors has kept a family operation on Highway 69 south of Jasper since 1963 — three generations of Walker County flooring. The store operates under the longer name Sherer's Flooring and Granite South on its Facebook and BBB profiles, and serves Jasper, Walker County, Cullman, Fayette, and the Smith Lake area.
The showroom carries six floor categories: carpet, wood, ceramic tile, luxury vinyl tile, laminate, and vinyl sheet, with granite countertops on the Granite South side of the business. Service runs the full arc — selection help, delivery, installation, and long-term care guidance — and its website publishes customer testimonials praising hardwood and carpet installs and a tiled shower months after completion. Its Google listing holds 4.7 stars across 26 reviews. Payment is cash or major credit card, with financing available through Synchrony Financial, and estimates are free via the website's request form.
Six decades of continuity is the strongest evidence here: a store that old survives on repeat customers and referrals rather than advertising. For Jasper-area buyers wanting one shop for floors plus countertops, it is the natural first stop.
