About Barry's Carpet
Barry's Carpet is a small, long-running flooring retailer on Newburg Road in Haleyville selling carpet, vinyl, hardwood, and laminate with professional installation, plus rugs. Phone-directory listings credit it with more than 28 years serving Haleyville, Winfield, Hamilton, and the surrounding Winston and Marion county communities. Its listing also credits free estimates, so pricing questions can be settled over the phone before any visit.
It keeps no website of its own, so public information is limited to directories and listing sites — and at least one retail directory has flagged the store as closed, so call before driving out. What evidence does exist is favorable: its Google listing holds 4.8 stars across 6 reviews, and Saturday morning hours suggest a proprietor still minding the counter.
For Winston County buyers, the calculus is straightforward: a decades-old local store with a strong if small review record, no online catalog, and an open question about current status. One phone call settles both — whether the showroom is open and what is in stock for your project.
